I am unable to cover the £800 fee - can I still apply?
Yes. If you are unable to pay, we can provide scholarships and support for some exceptional candidates to attend.
Will I be able to work on other things while at the seminar?
No. There will be some free time in the evenings; however, we discourage participants from coming to the seminar with other work.
My profession is not listed on the landing page - am I still eligible to apply?
Yes. If you're engaged in law and frontier AI in any way, we encourage you to apply.
How much technical knowledge, or knowledge of AI systems, do I need to apply?
We have no requirements. We provide a prerequisite reading list to ensure everybody has a solid knowledge base to make the most out of the camp.
Will there be preparation work before the seminar?
Yes. There will be 10-15 hours of preparation work to help participants make the most of the seminar.
I'm not based in Europe or the UK, am I still eligible to apply?
We will prioritise Europe- and UK-based applicants, and some of the content will be oriented to European and UK law; however, everyone is eligible to apply.
Is the seminar focused purely on the EU AI Act?
No. The seminar content will cover the EU AI Act, but will also cover relevant laws and regulation in the UK, the US, and globally.
